frosty & his rig
frosty explains how he fits 9 boards, and still has room to sleep two inside his chevy when venturing south to the promise land. the key is the pairs of hardwood boards that run the length of each wall and the ceiling, set out by little blocks every couple feet, just like the tie downs on an inside of a u-haul. though he's got a 4x4 conversion by quigley and winches on custom bumpers on the front and back; it really is nondescript. his philosophy is to keep everything neatly inside, and not to draw any attention to himself...i buy it...lord knows it ain't his first rodeo

I never expected to find these in Southern California especially along the coast,
but I did a little reading and I guess anything is possible...
P.63 of Edible and Useful Plants of California
By Charlotte Bringle Clarke
I wanted to try something old school french with em, so I gave this recipe a shot from Hostellerie Bressane, in Cuisery, France...basically a chicken cooked with morels and shallots in chicken stock, white wine and a little cream
