austin day 3

all the neighborhoods in austin are full of cool little houses, good sized yards/gardens, and not all built up and tasteless like so many places

stopped into the black star co-op pub and brewery, for a brew and a bite

bouldin creek cafe, for a coffee, food looked good too

resistencia bookshop
the colorado river winds through town, and is a central relief from the heat for many

barton springs...a cold spring fed swimming hole, understandably busy on a sunday when it's in the mid 90's

a poor attempt at capturing the river of bats flowing out from the congress st. bridge
and to taquerias arandinas for dinner
nice table tops

large bugs in the dining room are always a good sign of authenticity
huarache
lengua, pastor, and adobada
